Lessons from an extraordinary life. A novel written by Louis Zamperini & David Rensin. (HarperCollins 2014) A man who grew up in Torrance, CA serves in WW2 and survives capture by the Japanese. He lives to age 97 and shares the story of his life. It was a book that for me reinforced many truths I have discovered in my own life but told through another man my father’s age. A very easy read and uplifting.
