My aunt began a summer long cruise in June of 1952 and kept a scrapbook of mementos which included her travels in western Europe. Growing up I had heard that if you flew over North Korea, it was dark. If you flew over South Korea it was brightly lit. So I came across this a couple of weeks ago and share it with you as I had never heard the story related in the Ocean Times, the newspaper published on the R.M.S. “Queen Mary”.
